History

Reachout was established 1993 by Sandie Luti, Community Education Worker, Clackmannanshire Council, after viewing the play ‘Mad’ at Edinburgh Festival. The effect of witnessing this powerful performance was to inspire Sandie to seek supporters in the community to collaborate in setting up a theatre based mental health project.
Reachout has developed and grown over the years however the founding mission remains the same; to promote mental health through the expressive arts engendering a culture of participation, collective decision making and ownership of the organisation.
